10/18/2018 - Judge Dacca has officially endorsed Lizanne to be his successor

This may be the most important endorsement yet...Pierce County District Court Position 3 is currently the seat of the Honorable Frank Dacca. Judge Dacca has served in this position since 2003. After 15 years of serving his community, Judge Dacca is retiring. His retirement opened the door for Lizanne and her opponent to vie for the honor of succeeding Judge Dacca as the next Pierce County District Court Judge #3. Judge Dacca has officially endorsed Lizanne to be his successor. Judge Dacca makes this decision with the best interest of Pierce County and the legacy of this position in mind. Lizanne is humbled and honored to have the support of a man with an impeccable record of serving Pierce County. Thank you Judge Dacca. Lizanne hopes to serve Pierce County with the same honor, integrity and compassion that you have throughout your legal career.

10/16/2018 - We endorse: Padula and Williams would shake up the mix at Pierce County District Court

The News Tribune - We interrupt the regularly scheduled post for this breaking news..... The Tacoma News Tribune has endorsed Lizanne Padula for Pierce County District Court #3! This is huge news for Team Padula. The Editorial Board interviewed Lizanne and her opponent and looked into their history and legal background and concluded that the best man for the job was a woman with a decade more experience and a more well rounded background. The TNT commented that, "The resume with the greatest breadth belongs to Padula. She’s worked as a deputy prosecutor on the Olympic Peninsula, a pro-tem judge and now as a civil litigator based in Bellevue; she says she’s even served as a police officer." We are very grateful to the TNT for this vote of confidence. Hopefully it will mean more votes on November 6th.

10/14/2018 - Senator Rosa Franklin has endorsed LIZANNE

Lizanne is honored to announce that Senator Rosa Franklin has endorsed her for Pierce County District Court Judge, Position #3. Senator Franklin was the first African-American woman elected to the Washington State Senate. She served the 29th Legislative District as a Senator from 1993 to 2012. To have a Pierce County icon such as Senator Franklin believe in you and your vision is a tremendous honor and Lizanne is humbled by the support of this great woman. Two photos because we loved them both!

10/8/2018 - Multicare "Come Walk with Me" Breast Cancer Walk

Team Padula was out in force for the Multicare "Come Walk with Me" Breast Cancer Walk. The Sumner community was also out in force in support of this meaningful walk. My good friend Laura and her father Glenn lost their mother/wife and their grandmother/mother to breast cancer so the walk was particularly meaningful for them we were honored to have them with us. This is another event we plan to participate in next year and we hope to have several members of the Pierce County Bench with us and in pink robes!! If you have never participated in a breast cancer walk, you have no idea how powerful they are. GO WALK!!!

9/28/18 - Exceptionally Well Qualified!

Thursday night brought huge news for Lizanne and Team Padula. The Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association thoroughly reviewed Lizanne's qualifications and rated her Exceptionally Well Qualified to be a Pierce County District Court Judge! This is their highest rating and was awarded after reviewing Lizanne's legal experience, speaking to her references, evaluating her legal writing and having a panel of 20 attorneys interview her for over an hour before voting on her qualifications. It is a rigorous process and Lizanne is grateful for all the time this Committee invested in evaluating and rating her. Thank you to everyone involved.

10/1/2018 - YWCA Healthy Love Healthy Heart 5k

Another busy weekend! Started Saturday morning with the YWCA Healthy Love Healthy Heart 5k sponsored by OBEE Credit Union. This was a walk/run to raise money and awareness for domestic violence (DV) related issues. Lizanne was a specially assigned DV Prosecutor for Clallam County in the beginning of her legal career and, as a survivor of DV at the hands of her father, DV issues continue to be high on her priority list.
